Bienvenue Montreal! Join us on this international voyage into Canada and the northern-most waters of Lake Champlain to discover the rich history surrounding the St. Lawrence and Richelieu Rivers.
Our first day takes us north on Lake Champlain to St. Jean, Quebec where we overnight. Enjoy a refreshing walk along the boardwalk and explore this quaint riverside town.
A hearty breakfast will prepare you for a morning of walking or bike riding along the 12-km trail abutting the Chambly Canal. Witness the lock system as boats enter and exit the canal. Once back on board, we head to St-Ours, where we will spend the night.
Day three takes us along the St. Lawrence River as we make our way to Montreal, where we arrive mid afternoon. For the next day and a half, the City of Montreal is yours to enjoy. Visit the quaint shops, boutiques and galleries. Explore the amazing 18th-century architecture. Take in a concert or one of the many seasonal festivals. Sample exquisite restaurants and sidewalk cafes. Shop for new styles in this international fashion hub.
Take an historic guided tour with a local guide or a hansom cab ride through Old Montreal. Venture out on a shopping excursion to an outdoor fresh-food market with the Chef. The choices are endless!
After a full day in Montreal, we depart the next morning for two days of relaxed cruising as we travel down the St. Lawrence River and back to Chambly, where we overnight.
Day six takes us through the locks in the Canal, back into the open waters of Lake Champlain to Rouses Point. Here we spend our last evening with a farewell dinner feast and a toast to our new friends and crewmates.
As we enjoy breakfast the last morning, we head back to Burlington and disembark at approximately 10:15 am.
