FAQs - Before Your Cruise
Age Requirements
Is there an age requirement for passengers?
It is our mission to provide peaceful and relaxing adult vacation experiences. For that reason all vacation passengers (guests on private charters do not apply) must be able to provide valid identification if asked indicating that they are at least 21 years of age.
Handicap Accessibility
Is the Moonlight Lady handicap accessible?
Due to the design of the ship, the Moonlight Lady is not handicap accessible. It is required that all guests are physically fit to travel and able to climb stairways without assistance. The Moonlight Lady is not wheel chair accessible and does not include an elevator. Vermont Discovery Cruises reserves the right to refuse any guest, who is not self-sufficient, or traveling with a companion who shall take sole responsibility for any assistance needed during the voyage and in case of emergency.
What to Pack
Casual attire and resort wear is the order of the day both on board the Moonlight Lady and in port. Shorts, slacks, sundresses, blouses, etc., are in line for women. Clothing for men is just as casual. Consider bringing layers for cool evenings and mornings. You should bring a pair of rubber-soled sandals or sneakers to wear on deck and a pair of good walking shoes. You might also want to consider bringing along a sweater or jacket for cool evenings and rain gear in case of a sudden shower. You may want to bring along a hat or scarf. Please limit the amount of additional luggage to the luggage requirements however cameras, binoculars, sunscreen, bathing suit and a day bag are all suggested for your trip.
Attire for meals is equally as casual and you should not feel the need to bring additional attire for meal times.
Please see Luggage Requirements for additional information.
